I’m a graphic designer who likes to think of myself as a "Creative Connoisseur." From a young age, I’ve had a knack for crafting—whether that meant whipping up something imaginative in the kitchen or sketching out ideas on paper. Over the years, I've come to see a delicious connection between the two: just like baking the perfect dish, designing a standout visual is all about combining the right ingredients, taking bold risks, and carefully crafting something that’s not only satisfying but unforgettable. Whether it’s a fresh batch of ideas or a fresh batch of cookies, I’m all about the art of creation.

I call the outskirts of Richmond, Virginia home, where I live with my BBQ-pitmaster husband, my mischievous son who’s always up to some sticky trouble (including licking beaters), my sweet little girl who’s the apple of my eye, and our dog, who has an impeccable talent for devouring anything that hits the floor.

With over a decade of experience in the creative world, I’ve had the pleasure of working across diverse industries—from marketing agencies and tech firms to non-profits. Recently, I took the leap into the freelance world and launched my own design studio, Haun Design Co. I’m deeply passionate about design, and there’s nothing I love more than bringing visual stories to life—whether it’s for a brand or a personal project—creating designs that don’t just look good but leave a mark.

When I’m not designing, you can find me in the kitchen, where I’m cooking up homemade meals for my favorite people. One of my most thrilling (and slightly risky) kitchen habits is trying out new recipes on large crowds—there’s something exciting about the challenge of experimenting and making each dish my own. Sometimes it’s a hit, sometimes it’s a lesson learned, but it’s always an adventure in culinary growth.

“Cooking [Design] requires confident guesswork and improvisation—experimentation and substitution, dealing with failure and uncertainty in a creative way.”
